Literally translated, qigong means “Energy Work.” Qigong are exercises that stimulate and enhance the levels of energy in the body. They are easy to learn and gentle to perform, enabling all people, no matter what their state of health, to benefit from them.
Qigong can be used to help improve an injured body part, like a frozen shoulder, or a slipped disc, and can also help to improve your ability to fall asleep easily, to reduce the frequency and strength of asthma attacks, or to improve your immune system. One thing that always seems to happen, though, is a peaceful, calm feeling.
